Is GetTaxi safe?

We only use licensed black taxis which are regulated by TFL. We meet up with every single driver that signs up and they go through a comprehensive training programme so that we can ensure safety for passengers.

I left something in a GetTaxi, how do I get it back?

Don’t panic. Your driver’s details will be stored in your ‘Rides’ list so you can easily call them up. If any reason you can’t get through, you can call Customer Care 24/7 on 0207 7888 987 and they will get your item back to you.

How can I get GetTaxi?

Download the app from the App store or Play store. ( Enter your e-mail and card details. That’s it. Welcome to your new seamless travel experience.

Can I pre-book a taxi?

With our Future Booking option you can book up to 2 weeks in advance. Just tap ‘Pick up Time’ in the app and change the date for when you want it. Then sit back and relax in the knowledge we’ll be outside waiting for you at the requested time.

Which smartphones can I download the GetTaxi app onto?

GetTaxi is available on iPhone, Android and select Blackberry devices

The app isn’t locating me. What do I do?

Check your location settings on your device or try typing in the address, or drag the pin to exactly where you are.

Can I use GetTaxi from an iPad?

Yes you can.

Can I use GetTaxi outside of London?

In the UK we only operate in London. However if you travel abroad you will find us in New York, Moscow, St. Petersburg and all over Israel. Just open the app as usual and your location will be updated.

What about all my information? Is it protected?

The servers we use are world-class. All data is protected by highly secure facilities and infrastructure and is protected by extensive network and security monitoring systems.

How do I pay for my cabs by card?

Register your card by opening the ‘Me’ tab on the top left corner of your screen. Tap first option “Payment Settings’ and then ‘Add Credit Card’. All subsequent rides will be charged using that card so you can hop in and hop out and receive your receipts straight to your inbox.

What do I do if I have a coupon?

Open the ‘Me’ tab on the top left corner of your screen, select ‘Coupon Code’, enter your code and click ‘Confirm’. Your account is then in credit and your next ride will automatically redeem this code before charging your card. Do do this you must have a valid credit card registered.
